1982: A Passion for Candy is Born
The story of LeChao Candy began in 1982, when three Yang brothers started crafting soft candies in a small family workshop. With simple equipment and sincere passion, they boiled sweetness into every batch of products.
In 1991, this spirit of craftsmanship officially transformed into LeChao Food Co., Ltd. Operating out of a 400-square-meter rented space, we began our journey as a start-up candy factory, with a big dream.


A Journey Through Time
The Rise of LeChao: Expansion and Export
In 1996, we built our first manufacturing facility, covering 4,000 square meters, marking a new step toward standardized production. By 2000, our second and primary facility was established, spanning 27,000 square meters, becoming the core of our production and office operations.
Around this time, we also began to engage in trade and export business, marking LeChaoโs first steps onto the global stage. From there, the LeChao brand quickly expanded its reach across both domestic and international markets.
Upgrading for a Global Future
Modernizing for International Standards
With growth came transformationโin 2016, we fully rebuilt and upgraded the first factory, expanding its area to 32,000 square meters and equipping it with modern technology and advanced production standards.
During this period, as our trade activities expanded into more international markets, we continued to strengthen our compliance and quality systems and food safety certifications, ensuring our products meet the diverse regulatory standards of different countries.
